Hi! I’m Christine Agosta, daughter of first generation Sicilian Americans! I learned early the importance of family, honesty & integrity. The seventh of eight children, in a mix of brothers, I learned to fight for what I believed in. However, also being raised Catholic, I quickly learned that grief and guilt controlled most parishioners’ thoughts, even though we were only sinners in the church’s eyes (ha ha ha!). Boy did that take a bit of unlearning as I navigated adulthood!

When I graduated from Michigan State University in 1981, with a BA, and in a state where the unemployment was about 20%, I knew I had to seek employment elsewhere. Having always had a love for the Rocky Mountains, I packed a few things and hitched a ride to Denver.

My career in human services began as a treatment counselor at Denver Children’s Home working with emotionally neglected youth in residential treatment. No more than a child myself, I learned about trauma, neglect and the effects of abuse (and parental substance abuse) on children. This became my training ground for the 28 years of service that followed with the Denver District Attorney. Working in a prosecutor’s office, I unfortunately (or fortunately) learned the root cause of abuse and neglect and helped to hold people accountable. However, the sad thing about abuse is that it is cyclical and a learned behavior. I needed more tools!

As a society, humanity would benefit from learning from its mistakes. Unless we heal our past, we unintentionally give our trauma to our children as equally as we give our DNA. Our feelings of grief, our neglect and sadness, effects all our relationships, friendships and our future generations.

Alas, enter the world of energy in 2002, with 12 years of government work still ahead of me. Following this “discovery,” the impact I was able to make on those I worked with was truly incredible (for coworkers and victims equally). Getting a young child to trust and talk to me was truly magical. AND, I was not taking on their trauma any more. I learned energetic ways to protect myself, as well as ways to help victims navigate through the courts and through their lives post trauma.

Now in 2021, I am almost seven years retired from a job I loved at the Denver DA’s office, and I have reinvented myself as a Wellness Coach; Energy Practitioner & Teacher; a Toa Yoga/Tai Chi/Qigong instructor; and a Brain Power Wellness Coach. I have many more certifications and years of training, but what money can’t buy are the innate gifts of healing and my passion for helping others that I was born to fulfill.

My life is filled with Joy because my creative path is being met through my healing and the healing of others. Joy comes to me by creating and my creative tool box is filled with teaching! I also offer healing sessions to individuals, couples, families and businesses.

I am an Energy Medicine Practitioner, Tai Chi & Yoga Instructor and a Brain Power Wellness Instructor to both young and old alike. My mission is to uplift and empower individuals to live healthy, happy, and more peaceful lives by providing simple, natural, and innovative solutions to wellness that are readily available in their daily lives.
